Happy Monday! I first want to apologize because I promised to get this look up on the blog over a week ago, but the wedding planning has officially taken over my life. Lucky for you, both this boyfriend blazer and hot pink dress are now on sale for 40% off, so you can get the look for an amazing price! I instantly fell in love with this dress because of the fun asymmetrical silhouette and the amazing hot pink color (it comes in two other bright hues as well!) It’s now just $40 and is the perfect dress that you can wear all year round. For this fun look, I paired it with this metallic boyfriend blazer (also just $42 on sale!), complemented by a sparkly gunmetal statement necklace from Bauble Bar. I finished the look off with a pop of leopard print in this fun clutch that I scored for just $58 and added my pearl studded Chanel sandals (similar here) for a ladylike look.

This is a great look for a date night or night out!

Just two days until Christmas Eve, and in case you’ve procrastinated a bit on Christmas shopping this year like have, I have rounded up some chic home and office gifts for every gal that will arrive by Christmas Eve with no extra charge!

I’ll keep this short since I have Christmas wrapping to do. 😉 Happy shopping!

Happy Monday! I cannot believe it’s Christmas week – I say it every year, but the holidays have especially crept up on me this year with our wedding just a week after Christmas.

The look I’m sharing today is the perfect casual-chic look to wear for Christmas Eve or Christmas and the good news is, you can still get this entire outfit by Christmas Eve, just in case you’d like to wear it or give any of the items as a gift. I found this amazing sweater and instantly fell in love with the layered look of it with the buffalo plaid lining. To add a pop of color, I paired it with these amazing oxblood faux leather crop pants. I love that the cut of them allows for you to see your entire booties, so I added a little something extra with these grey boot socks. I added a little more winter-y texture with this faux fur infinity scarf (which is currently 50% off – just $15!)

For my hair, I went for my new favorite go-to (especially for those not-so-clean hair days) – the high pony and I finished my lip with an oxblood color.

Gift Guide for the Guys

**to shop, simply click directly on the items in the photo or the small icons below.

Okay let’s be real, the guys on our Christmas gift list are not always the most fun to shop for (and so they usually end up being the very last to cross off my list). After dating a guy who is 100% dude for the past 7 1/2 years, I’ve fine-tuned my man shopping skills and have come up with a round up of gifts that you simply can’t go wrong with. In fact, thanks to numerous birthdays, Valentine’s days, Anniversaries and Christmas’ spent with him, Cole owns nearly all of these products. So he has given the stamp of approval, and I can vouch for them.

A few highlights…

If your guy is anything like mine, he doesn’t buy himself clothes, and J. Crew Factory has THE BEST deals on super cute (probably not a dude word, oops) button-ups, vests and other staples, like the plaid number and puffer vest featured above.

Another amazing gift – Sonos Speakers. If your guy doesn’t have one (Cole has one in every room – ridiculous, I know), a great way to start is with this starter, value set of two. These speakers can be controlled through any phone or computer wirelessly and can play songs from itunes, Rhapsody, Soundcloud, Pandora, Spotify, the list goes on. And you can group the rooms or play different playlists in different rooms. AMAZING!

If your guy deserves a little splurge this Christmas, the Traeger is a gift that will keep on giving. Cole has a mini one and when he cooks steak on it, it is better than any fancy steakhouse steak I’ve ever had. Definitely worth it!

This complete luggage set is ON SALE for today only – originally $340 and now $100. If your guy needs new luggage, this is a no-brainer.

Happy shopping everyone and good  luck!

Travel Colorfully – The Cromwell, Las Vegas

If you follow me on instagram, you would probably know that I had the pleasure of going on the most amazing trip to Vegas a couple of weeks ago to experience a gorgeous new boutique hotel, The Cromwell. First things first, I’ve shared the outfit from my favorite shoot at The Cromwell’s gorgeous Bound by Salvatore Bar with the amazing photographer Adam Stewart above. This lobby bar is as elegant and classy as it gets, with live music and the most delicious drink menu, which we got to taste, by the famous mixologist Salvator Calabrese. A bar as fancy as this called for an outfit that played the part, so I opted for this gorgeous metallic slip dress I found (which would be perfect for NYE) and completed the retro-classy vibe with a faux fur coat (on sale for just $60!) Read on to see more photos and learn more about my experience at the Cromwell Vegas.

One of the very best parts of the trip was getting to meet some of the coolest fashion bloggers from different parts of the country and some truly talented photographers too. Kendi from Kendi Everyday, Krystal from This Time Tomorrow, Chris and Brock from Yummertime, Steven Onoja and Eddie and Angeline from His + Hers were the fellow bloggers in the crew (and seriously some of the nicest, most amazing folks ever!) and the photographers assigned to take our photographs in the hotel were the crazy talented Adam Stewart, Derrick Freske and Jonathan Zizzo from Zizzo Photography.

During the trip, we were treated to the very best that The Cromwell had to offer. I was taken away by just the interiors alone, upon walking into the hotel, you’ll see the gorgeous Bound Bar (featured above) and then are led into a maze of casinos as you approach the elevator to your room. The rooms were a fashion girl’s dream – magenta leather headboards and a retro-style vanity plus the most incredible shower accompanied each room. From a gaming instructional (which completely went over my head – Craps is hard!) to experiencing the nightlife at the epic Drais Night Club and Drai’s After Hours (it literally doesn’t even open until 4:00am), we had the most epic adventure at the Cromwell. And it was all completed with some amazing meals from Giada’s in between.
