I don’t normally share outfits on the weekends, but since this button up is selling out fast, I wanted to share it with you all before it sells out. I’ve always loved the nautical trend for spring – it makes me wish I lived on the east coast, but even in Texas, it’s fun to embrace the sailing-inspired trend in the spring. This button up immediately reminded me of the trend, and I loved the soft, lightweight feel of the material plus the loose fit (I’m wearing a size small!).
To style the shirt, I started with my new favorite pair of skinny jeans. I love the light wash and the distressed look of the jeans for spring, and they are just a tiny bit high waisted which makes them perfect for crop tops and for tucking in looser shirts like this one. Since it’s been a bit chilly in Texas lately, I paired my lightweight cargo jacket and I loved the mix of the light blue with the military green. I accessories with my go-to cognac reversible faux leather tote (it’s seriously the best – the reversible side is black so it-s super versatile!), and continued the color story with my leather belt and cognac sandals (similar here!)
I finished the look with a little pop of sparkle ala this statement necklace from Wanderlust & Co and wore my hair in an easy half up messy bun.

Today I’m starting a new series on the blog called “At Home” where I will share each of the rooms in our new home, starting with my cheery and colorful home office. Now that Cole and I have had a few months to settle in after the wedding, we are slowly getting every room in our home finished, and I can’t wait to share it all with you!
But first, let me give you a chance to begin your dream wall collage like the one seen in my office with a $250 giveaway!
As a girl who loves fashion, it’s not hard to see why interiors comes in at a close second as another passion of mine. When Cole and I moved in together, I knew it would be hard to combine my ultra-girly, colorful style with his manly preferences, so we started by designating one room in the house for us each that we could completely make our own. Our home is only two bedrooms, so I called dibs on the extra bedroom to transform into an office while he took over our second living room area (details on that room to come later).
If you’ve seen my bedroom from my apartment that I shared over a year ago here on Vandi Fair, then you may see some familiar items I incorporated into my home office. My personal style in fashion is reflected directly into my decorating style – colorful, feminine and with just a touch of Disney. I knew I wanted a white desk to start with since so much of my accents are so bright. I found this L-shaped swivel desk at Wayfair and I absolutely loved the versatility the swivel added and the extra storage space it provided, without looking too stuffy. The next thing I looked for was an area rug. Our bedrooms have white carpet, so they beg for a bit of color pop. I was so excited to find this blue ikat rug (similar here) and knew it would be the perfect statement in the room. Finally, I knew I’d need some extra storage space, so I found this white shelf to arrange more of my decorative items and this amazing clothing rack to hang and organize my clothes and accessories for blogging purposes.
Next on the list was decorating the walls. Our first home is a rental home, so since we can’t paint the walls, I knew I wanted to fill them with color with a beautiful wall gallery. Minted is the perfect place to start when it comes to creating your ultimate wall gallery. With thousands of unique prints that are available in an array of sizes and frame options, it was a great place to find some staples for my wall gallery.
As for the rest, I incorporated desk essentials and trinkets of mine that just make me happy. This is the room where the magic all happens for the blog, afterall (and I spend a whole lot of time in it), so I may as well make it the happiest place in our home.

As I perused the internet for the perfect wide leg pants to add to my spring wardrobe, I stumbled upon this high-waisted, striped pair and was immediately sold on the bold nautical print and the stunning colors (I know, pink and blue are definitely a recurring theme for me lately). I wasn’t sure how I’d style them, however, because the wide leg pant trend is one that can be fabulous if done the right way and not-so-fab if done the wrong way.
Before buying a top to pair with it, I looked through my closet and found my go-to white crop to try. I loved that it showed just the tiniest sliver of skin thanks to the high waist fit of the pant, but since it’s not quite spring yet, I needed a little more coverage. Thankfully, I had just bought this oversized boyfriend blazer in blush pink and it happened to be the perfect pairing for the overall look. For styling, I started with my shoes. I went with heels for two reasons – one because the pants are a bit long, but more importantly because I felt that the loose, baggy fit of the pant deserved a little pick-me-up with some killer heels. These lace up sandals were the perfect cobalt blue color to tie in with the pants and the perfect height, too.
I added a few more thematic color pops with these cobalt blue reflective Ray Ban sunnies and this blush pink Kate Spade bag. I know it’s not quite spring, but it certainly feels like it here in Dallas, so I actually wore this look last weekend to happy hour with my momma.
**For sizing purposes, these run pretty true to size if not a tiny bit big. I’m wearing a size XS and they fit perfect! They are long so they will need to be worn with a heel or be hemmed.

I have been so excited to share this fun and flirty gingham off shoulder top with you all. Of course (Murphy’s Law), now that it’s almost spring and I’m ready to share it, this particular top is sold out (you can get on a waiting list here), but not to worry, I have found several similar styles for you to peruse (shop more similar styles at the bottom of this post). From tops to dresses, the off shoulder look is huge this spring, and I am embracing the trend in full force, so this is the first of many off-shoulder numbers I’ll be sharing here on Vandi Fair.
What I’m really loving about this year’s take on the off shoulder trend is the sheer volume that many of the tops and dresses embrace. With the fluted sleeves and ruffled details, this gingham top certainly isn’t short of that, so to style it, I went with a super skinny pair of jeans (and my new personal favorite pair) that enhanced the drama of the top. I always love finding a way to mix in more than one color, and fuchsia happens to be a perfect complement to the navy color in the top. I started with these Kendra Scott Danielle earrings and this Kate Spade book clutch that mixes pinks and reds. There’s something about a killer pair of heels and skinny jeans that just gives you a spring in your step (and elongates your legs), so I finished the look with these fuchsia strappy heels that i found on heels.com.
