BELLE BOTTOM JEANS

If you follow me on instagram, you may have already seen these amazing belle bottom jeans that I wore when my bestie blogger babe Olivia from Livvyland and I went strolling through Dallas a couple of weeks ago, but they were too good not to share here on the blog.

Thanks to the surge of festival fashion, 70’s style trends have come back in a major way, and I’m definitely a fan. These pants take the belle bottom trend from the era to the maximum with an ultra-flare that literally swings when you walk. What I also love about this pair of jeans is that they are made from a super soft and stretchy fabric so they are so breathable and cozy. They are rather long, so I had to pair my mega-platform sandals so they wouldn’t drag, but that worked out perfectly because they totally completed the 70’s vibes. For fitting purposes, they fit pretty true to size and I ordered a size 25.

To style the jeans, I started with an easy striped ruffled tank (which is only $35!) I love the strappy open back details of the tank and decided to add a little more texture with a fun lacey bra (similar here). I actually was asked about how to style a lacey bra recently on instagram, and this is a perfect example of how to add a little flair to your look with a lacey bra. This is best done with v-neck, strappy tanks with unique open backs like the one I’m styling today.

For accessories, I started with this fun statement necklace by BaubleBar, which was inspired by a traditional Native American squash blossom necklace, adding to the Southwestern, festival-inspired vibes. Then I added more festive flair and color with this amazing tassel clutch, which I’m sad to say is sold out, but I found a similar one for you here, and I linked to several more below.
