Happy Fri-yay! Today I’m dedicating my posts to two things… 1 – my favorite picks from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and 2 – an outfit post I promised via instagram to post yesterday (but was too sleepy to wake up before work to finish, my apologies!).

First and foremost, I have to share my picks from the shopping event of the year – The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! If you’re a Nordstrom card holder, you can shop the early-access sale now, but if not, you can still preview the sale items and bookmark your faves until the shopping event is open to everyone on July 17th. What’s so cool and unique about this sale is that it features brand-new items for fall rather than clearanced summer or spring items, so you can get all of your fall necessities now. There are so many good items in this year’s sale, as you can see in my choices below. I already made my first purchases yesterday, and in case you don’t feel like sorting through the numerous items, I’ve curated a list of my personal picks below (seriously, spent 3 hours searching the sale last night). Follow me on instagram to get more updates on my tops picks from the sale, and shop or preview my favorites now by clicking through the photos below. Happy shopping!

I had been looking for a menwear-inspired tank or crop top like it for a while and was so excited to fins one at such a unique price. The blue striped top is suppose to look like a traditional men’s button down with the arms tied at the waist. It’s such a fun, feminine take on the menswear trend. I absolutely love black and white stripes and when I saw these shorts with the ruffle details, I was instantly sold. I’ve worn them this summer with several tops in my closet.

For accessories, I paired a simple statement choker necklace and stud earrings because I didn’t want to overwhelm the already-voluminous look. I kept my shoes neutral with my favorite strappy sandals and added a pop of color with my Kate Spade wicker crossbody bag. This is such a fun look that could work for day or night on a summer weekend.
