Today I’m sharing a sweet and sassy little date night look featuring this adorable textured blush mini skirt and the most darling ruffled crop tee. Blush has quickly become one of my favorite colors to wear this season. I love the softness, femininity and the neutral tone that allows it to pair with many pieces I already have in my closet.
If you follow me on instagram, you’ll probably know that a cute top, mini skirt and heels combo is my go-to for date night (see date night mirror selfie 1, 2 and 3, for example). There’s something so flattering (and also sexy without being too showy) about a fitted skirt paired with a flowy top. When I spotted this rose blush mini skirt, I knew I had to add it into my date night outfit repertoire (it also comes in a pretty grey hue) . Side note – for sizing purposes, Topshop always runs a bit small, so I ordered a size US 2 and it fit just right. To style the skirt, I stuck with an all neutral palette (shocker, I know!), starting with this adorable ruffle hem crop tee that I found for just $23 (also comes in black!) It is a crop tee, but only slightly, so it will still cover your belly button. I recommend ordering a size up just in case. I continued the neutrals with a contrasting black statement necklace that I scored for just $16, my go-to nude fringe sandals (only $55!) and my favorite crossbody bag by Kelly Wynne.
