First things first, I have to talk about this amazing giveaway featuring the stunning earrings you see on my bridesmaid Clara here. Simply scroll to the bottom of this post and you can enter to win $350 worth of gorgeous semi-precious jewelry by Margaret Elizabeth, starting now through Thursday, June 16th.

If you haven’t heard of this brand before, here’s a little background: Margaret Elizabeth jewelry is a brand designed for women, by women, which I absolutely love. The designer behind the line of gorgeous gems is Meg Shackleton, who started the business while she was a student at Boston College, hosting her very first trunk show in her dorm room (umm, hello girl boss!) If her inspiring story’s not enough, you should take a look at her stunning jewelry. Made from authentic materials like 24k gold overlay and semi-stones, all of the pieces are handcrafted by artisans in India. What I love about her jewels is that while they are elegant and dainty, they still make a statement. I also love the layer ability of her bracelets, rings and necklaces and that each piece is unique from the rest because the pieces retain the organic shape of the unique stone. I love her jewels so much that I’ve rounded up a few more of my favorites for you to shop below.

When it came to finding the look for my bridesmaids I thought of two things: 1. I wanted them to look like bombshells (it was a NYE wedding after all!) 2. I wanted to both tie in both of my colors: gold and Cinderella blue. I debated whether to do Cinderella blue dresses or gold, but when I found these amazing gold sequin dresses from Rent the Runway, the decision was made for me. I HIGHLY recommend considering renting your bridesmaids gowns from Rent The Runway – they will send each girl 2 sizes, so with that many dresses, you’re sure to have lots of sizing options. Also, most of their gowns come in petite, regular and tall sizes, so there are endless options. All of my girls absolutely adored their dresses and got to rock a $650 gown for just $90 – not so bad, ehhh? After the dresses were decided, I knew I wanted to find an earring to add that Cinderella blue pop without taking away from the elegance of the dress. When I stumbled upon these drop earrings featuring the perfect Cinderella blue stone, I knew they would be the perfect way to incorporate the pop of color.

For my house party girls, I knew I wanted them to also be a huge part of the day and part and walk down the aisle as a part of the ceremony too, so I wanted them to have matching dresses as well. I found the most stunning blue gowns with a pop of gold on the skirt and knew it was the one for them. Not only was it so flattering, it was absolutely gorgeous on each and every one of them and their dresses looked so good next to the bridesmaids gold dresses. I also found their dresses for a fraction of the price at Rent The Runway and I added a little sparkle with Kendra Scott Alex Earrings.

I was extremely happy with the dresses I selected for my bridal party and knew they were too thanks to the gorgeous fit and amazingly low prices. Keep scrolling down to enter to win $350 of Margaret Elizabeth jewelry and stay tuned for an upcoming post on all the little details and the story behind my two wedding dresses.
