BRIGHT YELLOW DRESS

It’s no secret that I’m a big fan of vivid colors, so when I spotted this bright yellow dress, complete with cut out back details, I had to make it mine. There’s something about the color yellow that just exudes happiness, and I absolutely love finding pieces like this dress that are that perfectly sunny yellow hue. I love the comfortable but thick material that allows you to easily roll up the sleeves for a more casual look and also makes it easy to wear without a slip beneath (oh and did I mention it’s under $16?!).

To style the dress, I started with this turquoise stone statement necklace, because yellow and turquoise is one of my favorite color combos. I continued the ultra-bright color story with my new favorite bag of the season, this amazing colorful tassel clutch by Rebecca Minkoff (which also comes in black). For a little pattern play, I opted for my go-to leopard pointed toe pumps (similar here). I finished the look with a coral pop on my lips and these bright blue reflective sunnies.

I absolutely love this look for a fun weekend event. In fact, I wore it for one of my best friend’s fiesta-themed birthday celebrations where we went on a taco and tequila tour around Dallas a few weekends ago.
