Happy Monday friends! I’m starting off the week with a flirty, casual look that mixes up a few of my fave patterns. Stripes are a staple in my wardrobe and apparently my most frequently worn pattern. In fact, when I went out to shoot my weekly four outfits last week with Angie (AKA the best photographer friend there ever was!), I realized EVERY one of them had at least one striped piece in it (oops!). This outfit combines stripes with my husband’s favorite pattern (which happens to be trending), camouflage, and mixes in another of my personal faves, leopard for a layered up look that’s perfect parts edgy and feminine.

So back to this look. The key to mixing up your winter wardrobe (because as much as we’d all love it, sweaters, jeans and boots can’t get you through the entire season!) is layering. The first steps to successful layering are having a few go-to, key pieces like neutral turtlenecks and long sleeve tees to pop under dresses and tops, such as this white turtleneck I’m styling today. This striped sleeveless swing dress will be a staple come spring and summer, but it also looks adorable now when layered over the white turtleneck. Another key to layering is rolling your sleeves. whether the cuff of a button up popped under a sweater or a camo utility jacket like the one I’m wearing today, adjusting your sleeves allows for more of the layers to show, adding texture and depth to your outfit.

Something about stripes and camo just works together. The camo trend is a bit on the edgy side, so I decided to add a few feminine pieces to the look to make it more…me. These pink hunter rain boots and pink beanie (on sale for just $12!) added a perfectly playful pop of pink and this BaubleBar collar necklace added just the right amount of sparkle.

Fair-well xx,
