Monday’s might be the worst day of the week for a birthday, but mine happens to be today. A birthday, in my opinion, calls for a birthday dress, so today I’m sharing this gorgeous number that I’ll be wearing tonight at dinner. You may have seen a photo of me wearing this dress at a wedding we recently attended if you follow me on instagram, but I had to do a full shoot in it to do it justice. I found the dress on sale for under $90 on Asos, and I was instantly sold. The gorgeous, vivid colorblock hues of orange and hot pink are so bright and summery, and the material is formal but also light and flowy. I absolutely love the illusion neckline, back and peekaboo details, and the subtle sparkle at the waistline is the perfect finish. The dramatic dress needs no necklace, but these fun tassel earrings, also from Asos, were the perfect complement. To finish the look, I added this fun book clutch I scored on mega-sale from Kate Spade and to add some height I wore these nude sandals by Steve Madden.
