With blanket scarves, capes, ponchos and outerwear galore, fall fashion has never been more cozy. This is one of those fall/winter seasons I wished I lived somewhere a little more north so I could indulge in this trend for more than just a few months.

When I set out to shop for the perfect blanket scarf, I knew I didn’t want to splurge, but I was so excited to find this color blocked number for a fraction of the price I was expecting to pay (and lucky for you, it’s now on sale!). There are so many ways to wear the oversized scarf trend, from wrapped up around your neck to folded and belted across one shoulder, but I love wearing it belted – poncho style. Wearing a blanket scarf this way creates a voluminous silhouette that’s a perfect pair with your favorite leggings or jeans and boots. Paired with a cross body bag (a girl can never have too many) and some sunnies, and this is the perfect look for a weekend brunch on the patio.

What’s your favorite way to rock a blanket scarf this season?

Thanks Lee Anne! I tried it folded and belted across one of my shoulders and liked wearing it that way too. 🙂

It is so cozy – it can literally be used as a blanket during those days at the office when the AC is cranked up too much. 🙂
