Bonjour mademoiselles! It is with great pride and deepest pleasure…that I for starters apologize for the many more Beauty and the Beast references to come, but more importantly, announce that this darling little yellow gingham skirt and crop top set is currently on sale for only $37 (yes, you read that right!) The mega sale price is only available during Goodnight Macaroon’s Flash Sale though, so act quickly!
If you follow me on instagram, you may recognize this outfit as one I wore to the D23 Conference earlier this summer (ya know, the one I slept overnight on the floor in to get into the Live Action Panel?!) – more to come on that later though. I loved this Disneybound Belle looking so much though, that I simply had to shoot it for a full blog feature. Click on the read more button below to get the full scoop on this enchanted outfit.
As a self-proclaimed Disney Darling (meaning I love Disney, like a lot), every once in a while I’ll do a Disney-related blog post or even a Disney-inspired outfit like today’s look. When I first started blogging, I was hesitant to post about Disney because I knew it was a little odd for a 20-something girl like myself to have such a deep passion for Disney. Strangely enough, my Disney posts always seem to be the most popular ones on the blog, so I must have picked up some fellow Disney lovers along the way (hooray!) So I’ve decided to not only start creating Disney-inspired outfits and blog posts more frequently here, I’ve also created a new category where you can easily see all of my Disney posts of past and present.
Now back to this Disneybound Belle Outfit. If you’re not familiar with Disneybounding, it’s a term coined by brilliant (and fellow Disney, fashion-loving) blogger Leslie Kay who created Disneybound.co, a site that features Disney character-inspired outfits for everyday. Basically, it’s the difference between me dressing in a full on Halloween-style yellow ball gown for this post or the more modern and casual modern gingham separates outfit I went with. ?
So for this look, I swapped Belle’s ball gown for a more modern and casual cotton crop top and skirt set. From the color to the classic pattern, I’m SO in love with this little set. Not only is it so girly and dreamy, it’s also super comfortable (like comfortable enough to sleep on a floor in, y’all!) and even features amazingly convenient pockets on the side.
Next up for this Disneybound Belle look, I simply had to incorporate a few enchanted objects. First up, a clever clock made crossbody, this Danielle Nicole Cogsworth bag (because it’s not baroque, don’t fix it…#amiright ?!) Lumiere, AKA best dinner host ever, also had to make an appearance in the outfit. How darling is this denim jacket featuring the enchanted candlestick stitched on the back from the Missguided x Disney’s Beauty and the Beast Collection?! Swoon! The story isn’t complete until the last petal falls, so I topped the outfit off with some Rose statement earrings.
Stay tuned for more Disney-inspired outfits here on the blog.
