If there’s something I can never have enough of in my closet, it’s good floral dresses that are perfect to throw on for any occasion, like this dress I’m styling today on Vandi Fair. A go-anywhere dress like this one is essential for those days when you simply don’t have enough time to style separates together for an outfit (and let’s be real – that’s like everyday for a lot of us).
I don’t usually go for all-over neutrals, but I loved the pretty grey and black floral print in contrast with the bright white on this dress. I also loved the flowy fit, flared sleeves and the little criss cross/lace-up details at the neck of the dress (not to mention the price tag – it’s under $50!). Although it’s not officially spring yet, here in Dallas it certainly has felt like it is, so to style the dress, I paired a few of my favorite winter accessories to give it a transitional feel, starting with this felt floppy hat which is currently on sale for 50% off. I realized that I don’t have many days left to wear my favorite boots of the season, this amazing black suede over-the-knee pair, so I was delighted to find that they were the perfect complement to this dress. I continued the neutrals look with my new go-to black leather bag by Luana Italy. The leather is the softest I’ve ever felt and the straps are detachable, making it easy to wear as a crossbody bag or a satchel. I finished the look with my tortoise shell sunnies by Karen Walker, gold Kendra Scott drop earrings and layered dainty necklaces.
