FLORAL ON FLORAL

Happy first day of spring! Although this foggy, dreary day in Dallas certainly doesn’t make it feel like spring, it’s so nice to see the subtle hints of it in the blossoms on the trees and the longer days. Spring and summer are my absolute favorite times of the year, especially for fashion because whether brights or pastels, floral prints or lace, things colorful and feminine are in fashion. In honor of the seasonal change, I wanted to share this fun two-piece floral set. I’m a big fan of the sixties-inspired two piece trend and when I found this floral print peplum and pants set at Asos, I was obsessed. It’s such a fun and feminine look, but it’s also tailored enough to wear to the office (side note – I work at a fashion brand, so we can get away with looks like this). I paired the look with these nude Michael Kors strappy sandals and this neutral clutch from Fossil. The busy print didn’t call for much jewelry action, so a simple monogram necklace, mint green studs from Kendra Scott and my go-to midi ring from Marshelleys were the perfect additions. I find myself wearing this Tory Burch watch nearly everyday now – I love how unique the lucite square case is and the patent leather cream strap makes it go with practically everything.

This look is absolutely beautiful! I don’t think I would be able to pull it off like you do, but I’d definitely love to have the two pieces separately 🙂

Thank you so much love! You could absolutely pull it off, but I was thinking the same thing – each would be awesome pieces to style on their own.
