I’m so happy that fall’s plaid trend has transitioned to gingham for spring, and this gorgeous emerald and navy maxi skirt from Shabby Apple is the perfect way to wear the preppy print. I wore a Shabby Apple top several months ago (which you can see here) and I just can’t get enough of this feminine, vintage-inspired brand. If your a fan of twirly skirts and fun prints, you will absolutely love their pretty pieces and girly silhouettes.

I paired the maxi skirt with a navy cotton top, also courtesy of Shabby Apple. I absolutely love how soft and comfortable the fabric is and the tie (which can be tied any way, but I love the bow) hits at the perfect spot on the waistline. I paired the look with a gold leaf headband and these Moroccan-inspired earrings from Kendra Scott to give the look a bit of a boho feel.

I wore this look for a date night with Cole, and we conveniently found a grassy area full of these pretty yellow little blossoms so we could photograph it on the way.

Fair-well xx,
