Fourth of July is just a day away and I’m headed to the lake! In celebration of America’s birthday, I wanted to share a colorful, festive dress that’s perfect for the lake, beach or pool as a swim coverup (I actually styled it over a swimsuit int he photos above). It’s already packed in my bag for the weekend. 😉 I found this kaleidoscopic maxi dress online at Chic Nova and knew it would get plenty of wear in my closet.
If you can’t tell, I’m a major jewelry lover, but days outside in the Texas summer heat make wearing statement pieces difficult. I was so excited that Flash Tattoos not only makes awesome, festival-cool bracelet and bangle temporary tats, but also pretty statement necklace look-alikes like the one above. While these mega gladiator sandals may not be the best for tanning lines during my lakeside weekend, they sure look pretty with this dress.
