From camouflage prints to army green trench jackets, the military trend has taken fall fashion by full force, and I’m definitely a fan. Military-inspired fashion pays tribute to heroes who have risked their lives to fight for their country, and I couldn’t think of a better day to unveil this look than Veteran’s Day.

I was most excited to put together this military-minded look because of my new Walin & Wolff rubber riding boots that the brand so kindly gifted me with. The “Manchester Boots” are unlike any I’ve seen before – they are not only gorgeous, but they are technically wear-anywhere rain boots that happen to look like riding boots. I’ve already worn them countless times and they still look good as new. Founded in November 2011 by a former CEO of Saks Fifth Avenue and a wall street analyst, Walin & Wolff is both a brand and retailer featuring a curation of accessories from fashion favorites like Valentino and Jimmy Choo to hard-to-find designers like Aquatalia, LK Bennett and Annabel Ingall.  It’s the perfect one-stop shop for accessories, without having to weed through the overwhelming assortment found at department stores.

If you read my Camo + Stripes post, you’ll know my boyfriend actually bought me this camo button-up (which is now on sale!) after passing it by in the mall in hopes I’d wear it while hunting. Sadly, it hasn’t made it to the deer lease yet, but I have enjoyed wearing it this fall. Since the camouflage print already makes a bold statement, my favorite way to style it is tucked into a pair of my favorite skinnies, topped off with a classic brown leather belt.  Kendra Scott Danielle earrings, tortoise shell aviators and a black cross body bag were the perfect neutrals to complement the Army-inspired look. I literally borrowed from the boys with my watch, stealing my brother’s new Michael Kors stunner for the day. This turquoise Kendra Scott double ring (which reminds me of an Air Force pin) and my coral nails added just the right amount of color.

Thanks so much, Jesse! Oh, yes you could! It’s kind of a lengthy, oversized fit so tucked in or paired with a vest of some kind works best. 🙂

Thanks so much Ashley! I just received them and they’ve already gotten so much use. Riding boots and rain boots all in one. 🙂
