I absolutely love white bedding.  There’s something about a fluffy, white comforter that is just so calming and inviting (maybe it’s the cloud-like effect?).  When I made the move from college to the real world a few years ago, my mother’s warnings about light bedding being hard to keep clean didn’t deter me from buying this pretty one from Anthropologie. While I do have to wash it more often than usual (especially thanks to my black cat), I am so glad I went for it.  Topped with a few of my favorite, colorful throw pillows and my twin size floral quilt (also Anthropologie) I used when I lived in my college sorority house, and voila! Just the right amount of color and personality to make my bedroom feel homey.

As for the wall art, I am absolutely obsessed with this sunburst mirror I found for a steal at Home Goods.   It helps open up my tiny room and also ties in both the gold and silver accents I have throughout my room. Each of the LVA letters were originally gold like the V, but I used some paint I already had on hand (like the pretty seafoam I used on my vanity) to add some color to my monogram.  I’m a sucker for symmetry and was so excited to find these neutral wood side tables at Home Goods (which I found out at checkout were actually stools) and white and taupe table lamps (nearly identical at West Elm). I’m a huge advocate of bedside reading, so the lamps get a lot of love.

Stay tuned for details on my collage wall!
