Here’s a scene familiar to pretty much every girl out there: you’re at an event of some kind and you’re cringing in pain because of those gorgeous new heels you decided to break out for the first time. It’s not one of those events where taking your shoes off would be acceptable, so you grin and bear it while your feet blister and rub raw.
I’m as obsessed with gorgeous heels as the next fashion girl is, but the truth is, pretty shoes hurt, especially during the “breaking in” period. That’s why my feet and I are so excited to introduce you to my happy feet solution: Fit In Clouds.
Fit In Clouds makes the most darling little ballet flats that fold up to fit in whatever bag you may be carrying and feature this cushiony, cloud-like padding that your hurting fashion feet crave. What’s even better? Their flats are SO affordable! The adorable little gold studded pair I’m styling today come in at just $32! These are must-haves for every heel wearing girl, y’all. Whether you’re at a wedding or out on the town and need some dancing shoes or you’re traveling and need some cozy shoes for the plane, the portable flats from Fit in Clouds will be your new bff.
To style the gold studded ballet flats, I wanted to show you a look that I would traditionally wear heels with, but could easily swap the pumps for the portable ballet flats. I recently scooped up this icy blue, twirl-worthy pleated skirt and I absolutely love it. The material is almost stretchy like a leotard, but it has this beautiful sheen that makes it easy to dress up. I continued the pastel palette with this light pink asymmetrical bodysuit. What I love about bodysuits is that you don’t have to worry about bulging or wrinkled fabric that occurs when you tuck a regular top in. I especially loved the fun asymmetrical sleeves on the bodysuit. A note on the bodysuit – definitely order a size up if you’re unsure, it is a bit snug.
