I love a good lace or crocheted piece, so when I saw this hot pink lace skirt (for just $24, I might add), I was so excited to style it! While I don’t normally post on weekends, a skirt this bright and fun just had to be shared on a sunny Saturday like today, especially when paired with this adorable “all I need is bottomless mimosas” brunch tank that I scored at Windsor Store for under $15.
First let’s talk about this skirt. I want to say first and foremost to order a size down, because it does run a little big. It’s hard to tell in the photos, but the skirt is actually a bright, neon pink, which I absolutely adore. I also love the soft, feminine feel and look of the lace. The great thing about a lace pencil skirt like this one is that it can easily be worn for work when paired with a blazer or the weekend with a fun graphic tee like the one I styled in today’s post. To style the pink lace skirt, I went for a fun weekend look. Brunch is a big deal on Saturdays here in Dallas, and there are several restaurants that offer bottomless mimosas, so I couldn’t think of a better tank for brunching with the girls. Since the tank is loose, I paired a fun little lacey bra beneath it that I also found at Windsor Store for under $10. To continue the bright color story, I opted for this gorgeous turquoise marble bib necklace by Baublebar and these pink reflective sunnies (just $9!) I topped off the look with these flirty little fringe sandals, a leopard clutch and a mimosa in-hand.
