Spring starts later this week, so it’s hard to believe the Dallas area was blanketed in snow (up to 7 inches where I live) less than two weeks ago. Before the big day arrives, I wanted to share this look I wore on the snow day we got a week and a half ago. I was ready to walk out the door for work when I got the go-ahead to work from home, so I figured why not take some pictures (all dressed up and nowhere to go is the worst!)

I’ve shared these Walin & Wolff rain boots a number of times, but tested and true, they work just as well at repelling the snow (and still look super chic too!) I’ve worn this cape a few times and featured it on instagram, but I realized I’d never rocked it on the blog. A snow day was the perfect time to wear this cape coat. I love the military buttons on it and navy just seems to go with everything, whether you’re wearing brown or black.
