In case you haven’t noticed, a sudden celestial takeover is currently happening in the fashion world. Everything from gowns (like this stunner that goes down as one of my fave dresses to-date) to mini skirts (like the one I’m styling today) and sneakers to handbags are seeing stars 😉 and this Star Wars geek and frequent wisher on stars is loving it!! Whether twinkling atop a New Year’s Eve cocktail dress or adding a little flare to your favorite kicks, stars have a way of making everything look a bit more magical, so today I’m styling a playful outfit featuring the star print trend a la the most darling $19 star print faux leather skirt.

I’ve always been fascinated with the stars. In fact, when it came to choosing my required science classes for my journalism degree (…yeah, I didn’t understand the necessity either), I choose to take astronomy classes (the second in which I almost failed…SO hard and SO much math, y’all). But one of my favorite parts of astronomy was getting to go out and observe the stars using our star wheels (which I’ve held onto since!) There’s something so wondrous and mysterious about the stars, and they’re so beautiful to look at, too. It’s no wonder that the star print trend has come in and out of fashion throughout the decades and I love that it’s back again.
