If you follow me on instagram, you may have seen that Cole and I were whisked away for a stay at the historic Brazilian Court Hotel in beautiful Palm Beach at the end of April. From the lush tropical courtyards to our perfect parts cozy and elegant room,  I couldn’t have imagined a more perfect experience for our first time ever in Palm Beach.

Keep reading to find out why the Brazilian Court Hotel is one of our favorite places we’ve ever stayed (we both agreed that we have to go back!) + see photos from our three night getaway at the stunning boutique hotel.

I’m not going to lie, when I received word that the Brazilian Court Hotel in Palm Beach wanted to host us for a stay, I had absolutely no idea what to expect. I was excited, of course, but I figured it would just be another beautiful hotel in a Florida beach town. I was wrong on both assumptions. For starters, Palm Beach is far from your average Florida coast tourist town. In fact, it’s all pretty local – which we loved! Similarly, the Brazilian Court wasn’t the shiny high rise I was used to seeing along the southern east coast – it looked like a beautiful house (okay, mansion) when we pulled up. It was a charming yellow three-story building topped off with beautiful Spanish stucco roofing. It was inviting and luxurious at the same time.

As two very friendly valets opened the wooden doors to the hotel, our senses were filled with the most amazing scent (oranges, I think?), and I could see just steps away was the entrance to a gorgeous courtyard, lush with green. From the entryway alone, I could tell the Brazilian Court was rich with history and stories, and I couldn’t wait for Cole and I to create our own.

The Brazilian Court Hotel has stood in Palm Beach for more than 100 years, hosting everyone from presidents (the Kennedy’s were regulars!) to celebrities (Sofia Vergara held her rehearsal dinner there!). Although the hotel is undoubtedly luxurious, each of the 80 rooms has a private, home-away-from-home kind of feel, making it the ultimate destination to relax and enjoy one of America’s most beautiful islands.

When we arrived to the hotel, we were each given an actual key to our room, topped off by a sunny yellow tassel keychain (which you know I loved). Just the simple feeling of physically unlocking the door to our room gave a homey touch to our stay.

Our room was just about as cozy as it gets, featuring traditional Spanish Colonial design with dark mahogany wood furnishing and warm, inviting colors. We especially loved the jetted marble tub and giant shower in our bathroom. Our room also had its own little private balcony enclosed with stunning tropical plants so we could enjoy our coffee outdoors.

The layout of The Brazilian Court makes it as beautiful as ever. There are several large courtyards with gorgeous tropical plants and plenty of seating areas, while the rooms are placed around the court yards. This was one of the courtyards closest to our bedroom.

The pool at The Brazilian Court Hotel is absolutely stunning. Although the pool itself is quite large, the cozy courtyard still feels intimate, which we loved.

The Brazilian Court Hotel is home to internationally acclaimed chef Daniel Boulud’s Cafe Boulud, and even if you aren’t staying at the Brazilian Court, I definitely recommend coming here for brunch or dinner. The menu offers delicious modern French cuisine, and you can even order room service from the menu (which we totally took advantage of one of the afternoon’s for a lobster roll snack – it was divine!!) What’s even better? The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor dining so you can take in the Brazilian Court’s stunning courtyard views. Cole and I sat on the patio and were treated to their three course brunch menu and we loved every minute!

Not only does the Brazilian Court feature Cafe Boulud, it also boasts the beautiful  Fekkai Salon in the namesake of world renowned stylist Frederic Fekkai. This lucky girl was treated to an amazing blow out and mani sesh one of the mornings during our stay and I absolutely LOVED the way my hair turned out! It seriously stayed this voluminous all day throughout the Florida humidity – amazing! Lucky for my fellow Dallas babes, there’s a local Fekkai Salon here in town! You can find it at Highland Park Village!

Another thing I absolutely loved about our stay at the Brazilian Court Hotel is that there are so many things to do! From their adorable Lilly Pulitzer bikes you can rent for free to their complimentary beach towels and umbrellas, the hotel has all the things you could need for your Palm Beach stay and it’s also located just a block away from the gorgeous beach and within walking distance to dozens of delicious restaurants and the famous Worth Avenue.

As I said earlier, Cole and I will definitely be planning a returning trip to the Brazilian Court! Also stay tuned because I’ll be putting together a Palm Beach city guide later this week and I’d love to know – what are your favorite things to see or do in Palm Beach?

Fair-well xx,
