BLACK AND WHITE POLKA DOT DRESS

After sharing a couple of sneak peeks on instagram, today I’m styling this adorable Minnie-inspired black and white polka dot dress. Polka dots are having a major comeback, and the first lady of Disney, Minnie Mouse, might have a bit to do with that, thanks to their Rock The Dots campaign and the new @MinnieStyle instagram account. As a Disney fanatic and an ultra girly girl, I’m absolutely loving the return of this fun and feminine print.

There’s something about the print that is so playful, light-hearted and a bit vintage, too. The adorable little polka dot dress that I’m styling today is currently out of stock (you can sign up for an email when it’s back in stock here!), so I almost didn’t share this look on the blog, but I found so my similar dresses (like this one!), that I decided it was still worth sharing.

To style the dress, I opted for a few pops of red to continue the Minnie Mouse inspiration with these red strappy sandals and this adorable kissy face clutch (similar here). For another color pop and to dress the look up, I added these gorgeous turquoise tassel earrings I scooped up from White Elephant Designs for just a fraction of the ODLR versions, and this turquoise cuff from BaubleBar.

To add to the Minnie theme, I topped it off with my favorite ears – these polka dot bow topped Minnie ears. I’ll be going to both Disneyland and Walt Disney World later this year, and this would be a perfect outfit for the parks when paired with some comfy-chic flats.
