DRESS: Asos (on sale for just $20!) // EARRINGS: Teal House Collection // WATCH: Tory Burch // MIDI RING: Marshelleys // MUG: Amazon // Heels: CHINESE LAUNDRY //
In honor of tonight’s premiere of Disney’s live action movie Cinderella, I wanted to share this look I wore to my bridesmaids brunch a few weeks ago. I was searching for a light blue dress to wear to the party (this is the accent color I want to use for my wedding day) and Asos is always my go-to when it comes to online dress shopping. Their regular priced dresses are amazing, unique and super affordable, and their sale dresses are amazing too. While the dress I chose didn’t end up being the exact color I want to use on my wedding day (I was thinking more ice blue less periwinkle), I love the feminine silhouette an the pretty lace details on the front and back of the dress. While I originally thought it looked like a modern day, casual Cinderella dress, my little sister Tiffany was quick to point out that it looked more like Belle’s village dress (womp, womp). Cinderella or Belle-inspired, I still loved it for my Disney princess-themed bridal brunch.
I paired the dress with my go-to cap toe nude heels and these gorgeous sparkly studs from Teal House Collection. I’m in love with this dainty, pretty chevron ring from Marshelley’s – it fits snugly on my finger, it’s 18K gold plated and it’s only $25. I especially love wearing it above my engagement ring. I wore my hair down for the bridesmaids party, but for the photos, only a Cinderella sock bun would be appropriate. I found this Cinderella mug at the Disney Store (you can now get it on Amazon) and I simply had to add it to my Disney mug collection (which you can see if you follow me on instagram).
I just came back from seeing the Cinderella movie, and it gave me the same butterflies as the original 1950 animated version did when I was a child. It was amazing – I highly recommend whether you’re Disney fan or not.
