Happy Saturday! In honor of the weekend, I wanted to share a look that’s perfect for a pretty day (sans platforms) and can easily take you into the night for a date (platforms included). I found this pretty little dress at Nordstrom and I was instantly drawn to the colorful striped print, but was even more delighted when I tried it on and saw how feminine and flattering the ruffle off-shoulder sleeves were. I’m loving the ruffled, off-shoulder look. Latin-inspired, it seems to always put the fiesta into an outfit.
Another trend I’m loving is the mini bag. My sister calls this particular one by Kate Spade (which is on sale!) my “American Girl Doll bag” because it’s nearly small enough for a doll, but I love the petite look. It still has more room than a traditional clutch would and also comes with detachable straps so it can be carried as a crossbody. The wicker and red make it a perfect spring/summer staple. I featured these platform heels I also snagged on sale at Nordstrom on instagram, but here they are in action. They are shockingly so comfortable, but you definitely wouldn’t want to roll your ankle in them. I love the 60’s inspired look of them (and the fact that they nearly make me as tall as Cole).
