In case anyone else woke up with a mild case of the Tuesday blues this morning, I thought I’d cheer things up on the blog with a flirty, fun and oh-so-feminine outfit that’s certain to put a swing in your step. While floral prints are usually reserved for spring and summer seasons, this embroidered floral dress is what I like to call a late bloomer, meaning it can easily be worn right into fall, thanks to its’ long sleeves and length.
Click on the read more button below to get the full scoop on this $40 floral frock and the fun and affordable accessories I paired with it.
This $40 embroidered floral dress is one of those that photos alone can do justice for. From the illusion overlay to the ultra-feminine and flattering a-line silhouette, the dress is beautiful from every angle. A side note to anyone ordering the dress, yes, it does come with the nude slip dress to wear beneath (hallelujah!) and for sizing references, it fits true to size. I’m wearing a size small and it’s not at all too snug.
Accessorizing a bold and feminine dress like this one is so fun, if you have the right pieces to accompany it. To bring out the pretty poppy red color of the dress, I immediately reached for my amazing red fringe earrings I scooped up from my friends at The Styled Collection. I absolutely love that these earrings make a mega statement without weighing down your ears. They are SO lightweight and what’s even better, they’re currently marked down for just $27! I have them in pink too and I find myself wearing them multiple times a week! Next up, I opted for this carryall bag from my friends at VTTHAI. I absolutely love the organic look and feel of the rattan, straw and bamboo bags that have been trending this year. They go with practically everything and provide a fresh take on typical leather bags. Last of all, I continued the organic, straw look that the bag added with these amazing lace up tassel sandals featuring the straw material, which are currently marked down to just $40! I’ve worn these sandals like every other day this summer, so they are definitely worth buying this late in the season.
Last of all, I wanted to talk a little bit about my makeup. I’m often asked about the makeup and lipstick I’m wearing in my posts, and you might notice something a little bit different about my makeup in this post. That’s right, I’m definitely wearing false lashes in this post, but they are SO much better than your traditional drug store falsies. I got these lashes from Private Label Extensions and they are simply a cut above the rest. Made from a100% authentic Mink, they are so gorgeous, super soft and oh-so-comfortable to wear. Once you try these beauties, you will absolutely LOVE them and never go back!! They have tons of different style available (you can see them all here!), but in this post, I’m wearing the Ella style.
Fair-well xx,
