Greetings from the happiest place on earth! Since packing for a trip to Disney World is fresh on my mind, I wanted to share some of the bare necessities when dressing for a day (or week) at a theme park.   My last visit to Disney World was in February for the Disney Princess Half Marathon, but I simply couldn’t stay away, so my sister and I took an impromptu girl’s trip for a few days.

Being cute and comfortable can prove to be a challenge.  My friend and I averaged walking 10 miles a day during our February trip (which we could track thanks to her FitBit), so having uncomfortable clothing or shoes is simply not an option. The most important thing to take care of when planning a day at a theme park is your feet.  Thankfully, tennis shoes are currently cool girl, and my little brother informed me these Nike Rosches are “fresh” right now (I especially love the ombre orange and pink).  Another item I would suggest is a fanny pack or very light back pack.  Tote bags are a pain to carry for hours and cross bodies are usually too small to carry your essentials for the day.  I’m in love with this super chic fanny from Nasty Gal!  If you’re a jewelry girl, leave the statement earrings and necklaces at home and swap them for bright studs like these from Kendra Scott and Flash Tattoos for your wrists, arms and even neck (still obsessing over this statement necklace-look alike). Leave the Ray Bans at home and opt for some fun, inexpensive sunnies like these heart shaped stunners from Nasty Gal (they even come with a chain so you won’t loose them on thrill rides.)

Since kitschy, graphic tee shirts and crops are so in right now, it’s so easy to find Disney or other cartoon tops in shapes and silhouettes other than the typical, starchy t-shirts you’ll find at the parks.  I’ve found several gems at Hot Topic and Forever 21, like this “I’m really a mermaid” graphic teeAsos has some adorable Mickey-themed accessories, including an assortment of adorable ears and this classic Mickey watch. Ta ta for now!

Thank you!! Deciding what to wear to Disney or any theme park can be so hard because you have to be cute for photos but comfortable for the insane amount of walking Glad you liked my picks!

Did you use the go pro camera for your pictures @ Disney with your sis?

Yes we did! We bought one of the stick accessories for it so we could hold it out on rides and to get more background in the photo. I’m going to post all of our GoPro pics and videos on the blog this week! 🙂
