Today is the last day to shop the early access portion of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! Remember, the public access starts first thing tomorrow, so set your alarms and bookmark your faves if you’ve been waiting for tomorrow’s big public access launch. The items are selling out very quickly, so today I’m sharing four different outfits I’ve created from my Nordstrom Sale purchases so far so you can get an idea of the many ways you can style these amazing deals for fall/winter and to also get an idea for how they look on-person.
I’m going to let you in on a few truths:
1. Fall/winter pieces are more expensive than those of spring/summer.
2. But there’s a bright side! You don’t have to buy quite as many pieces for the colder seasons, because of the endless layering opportunities!
3. Nonetheless, the boots, outerwear, handbags and jeans required of fall/winter can all add up quickly, which is why you should shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale now to make for a happier tomorrow. 😉
Now that you’re convinced that buying these amazing, must-have fall/winter items now while they’re marked down is a great idea, let’s talk about the four outfits I’m sharing today. I’ve broken each of them down for you to shop outfit by outfit below each set of photos above and I’ve rounded up all of my sale items I wore in the four outfits at the bottom of this post. Now I’ll let you in on the essentials I decided to buy in the sale and why.
The first (and my favorite!) thing I shop for in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is fall/winter shoes and boots. I scooped up more than eight pairs this year (don’t judge y’all – these deals are just too good!), and you can see four of them in action in the above outfits. A few that are on my must-list: over-the-knee boots, booties with a medium sized heel, riding boots and peep-toe booties. The sale also has amazing deals on flats and pumps for the season too. You can shop all of my fave shoes in the sale here.
Another thing I always buy in the sale is a couple of new handbags. This year I scooped up an amazing leopard crossbody bag for under $150, a carryall for just under $40 and I have my eye on this Tory Burch bag (SO gorgy!). As you can see in the four outfits above, I styled each of the bags twice. They are both bags that are certain to be carried lots! You can shop more of my fave bags in the sale here.
The next on my list is outerwear (stay tuned for some outfit boots featuring some of my fave finds in that category, but it was just too hot to shoot in a coat this week y’all). You simply won’t find gorgeous coats and jackets like the ones in this sale marked down this low until after Christmas. You can shop all of my fave outerwear in the sale here.
Other things that are always on my list for the Nsale are essentials like denim, sweater dresses, sweaters, cardigans and layerable must-haves like tanks and tees. Remember in this sale, brand new fall items from the most coveted brands are released averaging 40% off their regular price, and prices go up after the sale ends in a couple of weeks!

July 22, 2016 at 3:41 pmThanks so much love! I think boots are my favorite part of fall fashion. I’ll miss summer’s bright colors, but boots are much more comfortable to walk in than strappy sandals. 😉
