The fall weather has officially arrived in Dallas (I’m talking crisp, cool air, crunchy leaves beneath your boots and all!) and to celebrate, I’m styling a gorgeous dress that just says, YAY fall! This fringe tweed shift dress was the first thing I put in my cart on my last shopping haul. I absolutley adore dhow the little fringe hem addition gave a fresh update to the classic tweed material.

Apparently, I really like dresses (this is the third post in a row where I’m styling a dress – oops!) I guess it’s the ultra girly girl in me, but I especially love finding dresses that have that something that makes them unique, which is why I have such major heart eyes for this fringe tweed dress. I’ve linked a few more of my fave dresses that have that unique touch for you to shop below.

Tweed is one of my favorite fall materials. It’s timeless, thanks to Chanel, and there’s something about it that just feels dressy and ladylike (probably also thanks to Chanel). I especially love the detail of the wine colored fabrics used in this tweed dress. and the little fringe dress just gives it that modern update (and twirl-worthy vibes, which you know I love!) With a modest silhouette, the dress is perfect for the office but is flirty enough to take you from work to happy hour.
To styled this dress, I continued the modern Chanel vibes with a pearl wrap choker necklace from Baublebar. I’m totally into the choker trend right now and I love how this one gives a girly twist to the edgy accessory. To add a little edge to the ladylike shift dress, I opted for my black over the knee boots that were the perfect height for the hemline. Over the knee boots are trending again this fall and I’m definitely a fan. I love how they elongate your legs and allow you to wear dresses like this one without pantyhose when it gets ultra cold out.
To finish the outfit, I added a little sassy pattern pairing with this foldover leopard print clutch by Kelly Wynne.
