Last week, I was so excited to shoot my first-ever blogger collaboration, shot by the amazingly talented Austin photographer Kayla Snell. What’s even better, I got to shoot with one of my best friends and incredible fellow Austin blogger, Olivia Watson of Livvyland. Leave it to the Texas heat to show up in all its humid, sweaty splendor (104 degrees, y’all). Regardless of the heat, we had a blast embracing our inner boho spirits and shooting at the East Austin Succulent Garden.
With both our looks and Kayla’s amazing photography skills, we wanted to capture a Free People vibe as we explored the vast array of succulents and plants at this local Austin spot. Olivia and I had a hard time posing with our best “serious face”, but Kayla managed to sneak a couple of shots before laughter took over. We both wore breezy, lacy looks with neutral tones to contrast with the lush greenery of the gardens and green houses. I’m obsessed with Olivia’s ethereal maxi dress and love the pretty lace details of my top.
In case you haven’t perused Olivia’s amazing blog, be sure to check out Livvyland. Olivia is a crazy talented blogger and writer with amazing style. An Austin native, she embraces Austin’s casual, cool girl style with her own unique and beautiful spin. She also happens to be one of the sweetest, most down-to-earth people I know and one of my favorite friends.
Kayla is also a local Austin talent with an incredible eye for photography and gorgeous editing skills. Be sure to check out her site.
Fair-well xx,
Precious
