Happy weekend! You may have seen a sneak peek of this top last weekend on my instagram, but I had Cole snap my photos in it so I could share the whole look on the blog. I snagged the top on sale at Asos and I absolutely love it! It has a killer cool print that combines geometric shapes and floral prints and has a kaleidoscope of bright colors. Since last weekend was so warm and Cole and I had errands to run, I paired it with this white asymmetrical skort and booties that are super comfortable to walk in. I love a good crossbody bag for the weekends and this one by Fossil is the perfect size and shape. I complimented the bright coral color of the top with this statement necklace I received in my latest Rocksbox. If you haven’t heard about Rocksbox, listen up! It’s amazing. For just $19 a month, you get sent 3 pieces of jewelry based on your personal style preferences and you get to keep them all month then exchange for a new set. You can request your favorites online and buy pieces that you love at a discount. What’s even better, you can get your first month FREE with code “laurenxoxo5”. Don’t miss out!
I wear contacts most of the time, but I try to give myself a break every so often and especially on the weekends because I have itchy eyes (made even worse by my live-in allergen, Mowgli). I am also quite prone to loosing glasses, so thankfully this adorable pair from Pollete eyewear was under $50 with my prescription and shipping. You can find 100’s of amazing styles at prices that are unbeatable on their site, and you can simply input your prescription yourself. I highly recommend them if you – (a) loose things like me. ( b) don’t need prescription glasses but want a pair for the look. (c) want more than just one pair of eye glasses (because you can get like 5+ for the price of one designer pair).
Like the gorgeous turquoise beaded bracelet I’m wearing? There’s a beautiful story behind it. The bracelet is from Ekubo Ministries, a gospel-centered ministry working to spread the word of Jesus and create sustainability in villages in Uganda through teaching women a trade so they can support their families with income. This gorgeous bracelet was handmade by a woman in Uganda, and the proceeds from it go back to them. Check out their Etsy shop for more products to help support this amazing cause and stay tuned for a full post about this amazing ministry.
