Zebras and tigers and snakes, oh my!! Animal print is back in a major way this year, and we’re not just talking leopard print (which is always a neutral in my book anyway). Prints as wild as tiger, zebra and snakeskin are appearing in clothing and accessories alike. It probably goes without saying, but this girl is a big fan of the trend, and I fully intend to incorporate allll of the animal prints into my wardrobe. Which brings me to today’s look, featuring the sassiest little green side slit skirt, a fierce graphic tee & some sandals that walk on the wild side.

I always love a good pop of color, and lately, I’ve been loving rich tones of emerald green, like the hue in this sassy little green side slit skirt. You usually only see this color around the holidays, but it’s everywhere this spring, and I’m all about it! The color is what initially drew me to this skirt, but what I also love is the shape. It’s just long enough to look work-appropriate, but then the ultra-high side slit makes it a sassy date night number. You could easily dress it up for a night out with a fun crop top or pair with a fun graphic tee and a leather jacket for a more casual daytime look like I did in this post.

To style it for the blog, I opted to walk on the wild side, starting with these amazing tiger print sandals by Jeffrey Campbell. I absolutely LOVE these sandals, y’all! They’re the perfect way to add a little sass to any look, whether a pair of jeans or your favorite LBD. And since they’re an animal print, they go with just about anything, but they’re a nice change up from a classic leopard pump. I especially loved the way they complimented the graphic tiger crop tee I paired with the outfit. To finish the outfit off, I paired this amazing leather jacket that I borrowed from my sister (similar here) and a faux leather Western belt to add a little edge. And finally, I opted or this darling buckle bag with the cutest tortoise shell detail and added one more pop of color with this polka dot mustard hair scarf.
