Happy hump day! Today I’m sharing another bump-friendly summer outfit featuring one of my fave pieces I found this summer…this amazing yellow lace kimono. In the spirit of hump day, I’ll keep this post short and sweet. If you’re a mama-to-be like me and you’ll be bumpin’ during the summer months, make sure you put one pair of maternity denim shorts on your list. I decided to splurge a bit on this pair by PAIGE denim and it was SO worth it! I wear them at least 3 times a week (if not more!) and I love the cozy, under-the-bump fit, plus you can just always tell when you’re wearing quality denim (and even more so when preggers!) pre-bump I was a size 25, so I went up one size just in case to a 26 and they fit perfectly.
Besides my denim shorts, jeans and a few must-have cotton maternity tops and dresses, I’ve been so happy to find that I was able to find lots of maternity clothes to wear during pregnancy. I specially love a trend/item that is bump-friendly across the board, which is why kimonos are such a great staple to mama’s to be. They’re perfect for when you wanna wear your shorts but have a little more coverage or as a cardigan alternative. It’s no secret that I’ve been a huge fan of the color yellow for the past year, so when I spotted this gorgy yellow lace kimono, I simply had to make it mine. I love that it has the option to button in the middle if you’d like to style it more as a part of your top like I did, and the fluted sleeves add the best movement. What’s even better?
