Happy Hump Day! If you follow me on instagram, you’ll know that I’ve spent the last 4 days at the most magical place on earth, so is it any wonder that I’m feeling inspired to share this fun, feminine and ultra-vibrant outfit today on the blog?

I absolutely love the midi skirt trend because it is just so classically feminine and it’s flattering for every shape. While my go-to pairing for midi skirts is always crop tops in the spring/summer, I like to pair them with button ups and sweaters for the fall/winter season. SHOP MORE OF MY FAVE MIDI SKIRTS

I’m not usually the matchy-matchy type, but every once in a while, a monochromatic outfit idea comes to mind that just works. When I got this pink color block midi skirt from my friends at Chicwish in the mail, I tried on just about every white top I had in my closet with it, but it just wasn’t doing it for me. Then I remembered the pink gingham custom shirt (similar here) I had made for me by the amazing Bell Collection team months ago, and voila! It was a perfect match. The light pink color of the gingham print perfectly complements the pink and coral hues in the skirt and the collared button up silhouette adds a bit more of a casual, preppy feel to the look.

To accessorize the look, I kept the all-pink-everything theme going with these light pink bow sandals (similar here) and light pink tassel earrings by BaubleBar. I love this outfit idea for a fancy Sunday brunch or shower.
