Happy Monday! I cannot believe it’s Thanksgiving week! With the holidays just days away and some amazing shopping deals just a round the corner, I’ll be posting lots of gift guides, sale round ups and outfit ideas for the next week. Today I’m sharing a casual chic look featuring a fall/winter staple that you simply must get if you don’t already have one – the military green jacket. Sometimes referred to as a utility or cargo jacket, this fashion staple will take you from September through February with its versatility. Military green can pair with so many things in your closet and the casual look of it makes it easy to throw on. In case you don’t have one yet, I’ve rounded up several options to fit your style preferences and budget, below.

For this post, I styled my military green jacket with a classic striped tee-shirt dress and my go-to leopard scarf (just $20!) for a fun play on pattern mixing. I finished it off with my go-to over-the-knee boots (I just can’t get enough of them, y’all!) To accessorize, I went casual and minima with these amazing pearl studs from Lydell NYC and my MICHELE watch (similar). I wore this look on a trip to the mall, so I carried my oversized reversible leather shopper bag (if you don’t have one you need one – it comes in so many color combos!)
