Today I’m sharing a perfect transitional weekend look featuring a nautical striped button up paired with my new favorite skinnies and a lightweight cargo jacket.
I don’t normally share outfits on the weekends, but since this button up is selling out fast, I wanted to share it with you all before it sells out. I’ve always loved the nautical trend for spring – it makes me wish I lived on the east coast, but even in Texas, it’s fun to embrace the sailing-inspired trend in the spring. This button up immediately reminded me of the trend, and I loved the soft, lightweight feel of the material plus the loose fit (I’m wearing a size small!).
To style the shirt, I started with my new favorite pair of skinny jeans. I love the light wash and the distressed look of the jeans for spring, and they are just a tiny bit high waisted which makes them perfect for crop tops and for tucking in looser shirts like this one. Since it’s been a bit chilly in Texas lately, I paired my lightweight cargo jacket and I loved the mix of the light blue with the military green. I accessories with my go-to cognac reversible faux leather tote (it’s seriously the best – the reversible side is black so it-s super versatile!), and continued the color story with my leather belt and cognac sandals (similar here!)
I finished the look with a little pop of sparkle ala this statement necklace from Wanderlust & Co and wore my hair in an easy half up messy bun.
