Happy Friday! After a brief hiatus from the bloggy blog world due to 12 newborn fur babies, I’m back in action and SO excited to talk about a website you all are going to LOVE. For my fellow cocktail enthusiasts and home decor lovers alike, meet The Bar Cartist. This brand has taken the art of the bar cart to a new level with a website solely dedicated to bar cart styling and accessories.
Today I’ve teamed up with The Bar Cartist to talk about why I absolutely love the bar cart trend and show you how I styled my gorgeous new gold bar cart, which I scooped up from the brand. Click through to find out more about The Bar Cartist + see how I styled our new bar cart with accessories found at The Bar Cartist just in time for NYE!
There are so many reasons why I love the bar cart trend. Not only are they functional, serving as a space to place all of your barware, but they also double as a way to add chic decor to your space. The Bar Cartist has a variety of bar carts to shop, from chic gold ones like the one I’m styling today to masculine wood and metal carts. The Bar Cartist also sells everything you could ever need to stock and decorate your bar cart. From glassware of all kinds and necessities like bottle openers to decor such as books and art prints, pretty much anything you could ever dream up for styling your bar cart can be found at The Bar Cartist. And for the major enthusiasts, they even have a page on the history of the bar cart and inspiration to help you get started on decorating your bar cart.
What’s even better about bar carts? They can be repurposed for dozens of other uses. Our new gold circular bar cart from The Bar Cartist replaced the old one in our space, so I’m using the retired bar cart for shelving and storage in my home office.
Now back to the bar cart that I’m styling today. Our bar cart sits in our living room, so I wanted the bar cart to complement the pieces we already have in our living room area. Lots of gold and mirrored furniture make up our living room, so this circular gold bar cart featuring mirrored trays was the perfect fit. I’ve recently started re-doing our living room with throw pillows and pieces in bright colors and tropical patterns like pink flamingos (I don’t think Cole has noticed yet!) and green banana leaves, so I thought this gold pineapple tumbler would be the perfect addition to the bar cart. These chic mirrored glasses were also perfect to place on the bar cart since we have so many mirrored pieces in our space. Probably my fave piece we scooped up from The Bar Cartist was this amazing celebrity cocktails coffee table book. Full of amazing historical facts and drink recipes from iconic celebrities of the past and present, I know it’s definitely one we will use (plus it’s super pretty sitting out!)
Last of all, I added a few holiday touches to the bar cart with these fun gold number wine glass markers and this adorable penguin shaker. To see and shop all of the bar carts and accessories The Bar Cartist has to offer, click here.
Fair-well xx,
