Okay so I’ve admitted and fully embraced that fall is here and this look may flirt a bit with the summer side, but I simply couldn’t resist sharing this outfit with you. This pink striped midi skirt is still perfect for the fall/winter season (I can see it now with a white or grey turtleneck or off-shoulder sweater – dreamy!)

This skirt is what my dreams are made of, y’all. It has everything I could ever want – a soft, feminine pink hue, a sheer illusion effect that makes it look as though you’re floating when your walking, the perfect amount of pleats for added texture and preppy stripes, too. The skirt is actually sold as petite, but the fit was perfect for me and I’m 5’6′ so not exactly in the petite category.

Though now I’m thinking about it, a black top or sweater would look fab with this skirt too, but I wanted to keep things light and bright for this look, so I started with this crisp white one shoulder ruffle top. This top is not only super chic, but I’ve been able to pair it with so many things in my closet – a must-buy for sure! I continued the pastel color story with this mint coral reef statement necklace (currently on sale!) – this is probably the part that makes the outfit summer-y, so here’s a similar mint necklace that’s perfect for the fall/winter season.

To add a little more color and fun, I carried this darling little clutch that features a gorgeous Lilly Pulitzer print. The clutch is by Sew Sarah and she has oodles are fun prints and they’re all priced under $40 + feature pretty fabric on the inside, too (this clutch has a light pink and white seersucker print – adorbs!) To finish off this playful, pastel look, I wore these fun heart shaped sunnies (just $12!) and my go-to strappy nude sandals by Steve Madden.

This outfit is perfect for a shower or fancy brunch date.
