Apologies for being a bit MIA here on the blog – I’ve been feeling a bit under the weather lately (no thanks to the ever-changing Dallas weather…our temps went from 80-something to 30-something in a day!). Luckily, that means I have lots of fun outfit posts built up for ya to share on the blog, starting with this holiday look featuring my latest pair of fancy pants. These red flared pants immediately stole my heart when I saw them, but I couldn’t wait to put them on and give them a good strut. Thanks to the flirty little slits on the side, they definitely lived up to my expectations and added even more flair to my outfit when I walked.
Click through to get the full scoop on this sassy chic look, featuring the caaa-utest red flare pants and white booties, both on which happen to be on major sale right now.
Gonna do another short and sweet post today (mostly because of the 200+ emails staring me down in my inbox). Clearly I have a thing for red pants lately (evidence here), so I was super excited to style this fun flared pair for you here on the blog. I usually don”t start styling an outfit with the shoes, but these particular pants beg for a shoe that stands out thanks to the mega side slits. To be honest, when I first scooped up these white booties by Steve Madden (currently on sale), they kind of sat in my closet for a couple of weeks because I wasn’t sure how to wear them. But once I put them on, I couldn’t get enough of them (I’ve already worn them once on the blog here), and I promise this won’t be the last time you see them on the blog. I love the fun 70’s vibe they add to any look.
Since the pants already carry so much volume, I opted for a fitted top, and this striped turtleneck added just the right amount of pattern. But why wear one pattern when you can double up?! This faux fur leopard coat (similar here) was perfect for keeping warm and adding a little more 70’s flair to the look.
I topped the outfit off with my new go-to white felt beret (I feel so Parisian in it!) and a little more stripe play with this fun rainbow stripe box clutch.
Stay tuned for more fun holiday outfit ideas here on the blog.
