Happy Monday friends! Today I’m so excited to be partnering with my friends at Nordstrom and Madewell to bring you a spring picnic-ready outfit featuring the cutest gingham cropped pants from the brand. When I spotted these high waisted crop pants featuring the classic print, visions of picnic baskets and lemonade came springing to mind and I had to have them. While I love gingham print in practically every color, the classic red and white picnic blanket gingham is especially fun to play up for spring.

Madewell has long been a staple of mine when it comes to effortless wardrobe essentials. From cozy knit cardigans to soft cotton tops, Madewell creates classic pieces with just the right touch of modern that will last for seasons to come. Best of all, their clothing is always made from the softest, most high-quality fabrics that you’ll wanna wear all day. I love the brand so much, in fact, that I linked up more of my favorites from Madewell at Nordstrom for you to shop below.

When I stumbled upon these gingham pants from the brand, I was surprised to find such a bold print amongst Madewell’s usual neutral palette. But although these gingham crop pants lean on the bold side, they still boast that oh-so-cozy, wear-all-day feeling that their clothing is known for. I was a little nervous that the bold gingham print wouldn’t be so forgiving on my legs, but I was delighted to find that the print and the high waist fit gave them a slimming effect and made my legs look even longer. For sizing references, they have a loose fit, so order according to how you prefer your fit. I’m wearing a size 25 and still had a little wiggle room.
To style the gingham print pants, I continued the classic spring picnic vibes with this crisp and feminine white off the shoulder lace top. I absolutely love the quality of the lace material, the illusion effect of the sleeves and the way the lace lines the edges of the sleeves and the bottom of the top. I added anther playful, zesty touch to the look with my lemon clutch and topped it off with my go-to Marc Fisher wedges to give my legs a little extra length.
