Happy hump day friends! Today I’m teaming up with my friends at Goodnight Macaroon to share a fun spring transitional outfit that’s practically ALL on sale! Spring has a bit of a hot and cold attitude, literally (especially if you live in Texas like me), so it’s important to have pieces that you can wear for the cooler days and the hotter days of the new season. This sweater that I scooped up from Goodnight Macaroon is lightweight enough for spring, but will still keep you warm on those 50-something degree days. It also happens to be on major sale right now!
Click on the read more button below to get all of the details on how I put together an easy, colorful outfit meant for those cooler, early days of spring.
If you’ve followed me for a few months, you’ll probably know that Goodnight Macaroon is my go to for hard-to-find, affordable and oh-so-feminine staples like this striped sweater with the cutest button detail. I love that their pieces are classic with a unique twist, and what’s even better? Every Tuesday and Wednesday of the week, they feature a flash sale with up to 60% off select styles. You can shop their entire sale happening now here, and be sure to check back each week to see which items they add to the sale.
Stripes are one of my favorite patterns to keep in my closet because they are so versatile. For this winter-meets-spring transitional outfit, I wanted to pair it with something floral and this floral embroidered denim skirt was the perfect match. I absolutely love the striking colorful detail of the embroidery and the button up detail adds a casual 70’s vibe to the skirt. Plus, it will be perfect when paired with a tee or tank for warmer weather in the coming months. The skirt is currently 40% off, so if you love it as much as I do, you better scoop it up now!
Just because winter is over, doesn’t mean you have to put all of your boots and booties up. Paired a mini skirt with your over-the-knee boots like I did in this outfit is a perfect way to still get some wear out of your fave boots. Plus, they will keep you warm on chillier days or evenings! I found a similar pair to the ones I’m styling today, also on sale for 40% off!
Keeping a few of your winter coats around isn’t a bad idea either. This bright and cheery mustard yellow coat is perfect for early spring because it’s not too heavy + adds that perfect splash of sunshine-y color the new season deserves. I found a similar mustard yellow coat that’s on sale too!
To accessorize, I wanted to bring out one of the gorgeous bright colors in the embroidered skirt, so this cherry red Kate Spade bag was just what I needed (and it brought out the color of my lipstick, too!)

March 25, 2017 at 4:43 pmSomehow I believe that stripes might be a major trend this Spring – it seems as if everyone is wearing them. Oddly, this makes me happier than it normally would…probably because I recently got a cute striped dress from a consignment store. I just have to figure out how to accessorize it.
