I may be a girly girl at heart, but there’s nothing quite as comfy as a good ole’ pair of sneakers, and lucky for us – the sneaker trend is still going strong. I was a bit hesitant to try the non-athletic/cool girl sneakers look at first, but now I’ve fully incorporated it into my regular wardrobe and I’m never going back. Today I’m teaming up with Nordstrom to bring you this sweater and sneakers outfit featuring the coziest off the shoulder sweater ever and one of my fave new pairs of kicks.

I ordered this off the shoulder sweater online originally because I was drawn to the off-shoulder silhouette (and the $55 price tag certainly didn’t hurt!) , but when it arrived in the mail I fell in love. From the slightly oversized fit (so you can roll those sleeves up!) to the stretchy, soft waffle knit material, I loved the fit and feel of the sweater. What I also loved was the rusty brown color. I am definitely particular about brown colors in fabrics, and this one was that perfect cognac hue. The sweater also comes in a navy color (which I think I may also be getting!) and comes in a size XXS and XS, along with the regular S,M,L sizes. For reference, I’m wearing a XS and it’s got plenty of room and stretch!
I probably sound like a broken record, but Nordstrom is always my go-to when it comes to sweater shopping. They have endless options in every size, shape, color and texture, and all for really good prices. Sweaters also happen to make great gift options since they’re so versatile (who doesn’t love and need a few new sweaters on rotation in their closet?!) You may be surprised to find that Nordstrom also has an amazing selection of sneakers, both to wear with comfy cute looks like this one and for athletic purposes, too. These olive Nike Juvenate sneakers have been on repeat lately (the color goes with everything and they’re so lightweight and comfortable!) Here’s a pair of similar Nike Juvenate sneakers in olive and a near-identical pair of Nike sneakers, also in the olive green color, if you’re loving my sneakers too.
I’ve linked up more of my fave sweater and sneaker pairings from Nordstrom for you to peruse below.

Another thing I have to point out about this outfit – these ripped black skinny jeans by Articles of Society are amazing, and only $59! If you’re on the lookout for a pair of black skinnies, I definitely recommend these. SO comfortable an you’ll love the fit!
Stay tuned for more winter outfit ideas here on the blog!
