Happy Sunday! Last week was a much-needed relaxing week. Read on to see a few details from it via Instagram…
The relaxation started last Saturday morning, when I set no alarm and woke up to a growling stomach that only a donut this size could satisfy.
Last weekend was opening weekend for deer hunting season in Texas, so my boyfriend was no where to be found (and out of service; secret: he’s been taking my photos lately). So, my mom offered to venture with me around downtown Dallas to take some photos. I posted a sneak peek from this look, featuring this amazing two piece crop top and skirt courtesy of Others Follow and a camouflage baseball cap from J. Crew Factory. Stayed tuned for the post this Thursday!
My mom and I made such a great team and the weather was so beautiful in Dallas that we decided to take a second round of photos on Sunday, but not before brunching at the delicious Ellen’s Kitchen downtown. This mushroom garlic toast was ridiculous.
I woke up with a case of the Monday Blues to start the work week, and I wasn’t mad about it. You can shop these cobalt colored items here.
This is not a joke or an exaggeration: every morning when I wake up, I put a Disney movie in and let it run while I do my morning routine and get ready for work. They’re the perfect length, usually running about an hour and a half, and make the best/happiest background noise. This week, the Lion King was one of my choices (it’s one of my all-time faves) and it inspired the above photo.
I posted this look on Wednesday featuring my new favorite blazer and my go-to pink lipstick.
It was a rainy week in Dallas, and thanks to these rain boots courtesy of Walin and Wolff, I was excited about the gloomy weather.
I was so excited to share about Austin jewelry designer and artist Melissa Borrell this week on the blog. I’m in love with these little “3D Drawings” she sells – they would be the perfect addition to an at-home office.
Melissa also makes gorgeous jewelry, like these earrings form her “Pop Out” concept. Learn more about Melissa Borrell and her jewelry collection here.
It’s hard to believe that it’s the season for the famous and festive red Starbucks cups. I was tickled to find that my coffee matched my outfit on Thursday.
I got to visit my old stomping grounds and favorite city ever, Austin, this weekend for the Texas game and shared my game day essentials as I packed for the weekend trip.
Hope you all had a fabulous and relaxing weekend!
Fair-well xx,
