“Collect Memories, Not Things.” I think I’ve pinned this quote or some form of it multiple times on Pinterest because I love it so much. As the holiday season approaches and gift giving is on the mind, I always try to think about gifts that carry a bit more meaning, and nothing is more meaningful than a memory shared with friends or family. Today I’m so excited to be teaming up with my friends at Shutterfly to talk about gifting memories.

If you’re anything like me, you’ll probably get a little bit overwhelmed with all of the amazing, personalized products Shutterfly offers up this time of year. That’s why I’m making a list of five essentials you need this holiday season from Shutterfly.
1. Christmas Cards
As newlyweds, we are SO excited to send out our first-ever Christmas cards. What makes being newlyweds even more awesome is that we didn’t even have to worry about getting photos taken for our cards since we have so many from our wedding. Sending out Christmas cards each year is a tradition my family always had and one that I want me and Cole’s little fam bam to continue, starting right this year. What I loved about creating our cards at Shutterfly was the vast amount of options they offered, from the amount of photos you want on your cards to the colors (and fun, fancy options like the gorgeous glitter card we chose!), there are so many different designs to choose from and endless ways to customize them. You can even customize your envelopes with a festive liner or colored envelope. I went with a classic Christmas plaid liner to add a little color to our cards (and even included a little shot of our dog, Lucky, on the back of the card.)
2. Christmas Tags
Another thing you’ll need this holiday season from Shutterfly is Christmas tags – and they have lots of fun designs. Growing up, my family always used little stickers to tag gifts rather than writing a card for every gift (too expensive and time-consuming!) I love that these stickers take all of the work out of tagging gifts with the option of typing in your name along with a holiday message.
3. Photo Books
I’m such a huge fan of photobooks, and as newlyweds, the timing couldn’t be more perfect for making wedding books for our parents and grandparents. Shutterfly has lots of pre-designed pages and books with endless layout options so you can easily create a beautiful photobook that will capture all of your precious memories for a lifetime. I was so impressed with the quality of our books that I might just have to order one for Cole and I to keep on our coffee table.
4. Return Addresses
If there’s one thing that’s true about the holiday season, it’s that everyone tends to be a little busier than normal, so whatever can make your life a little less hectic is necessary, which is why I love Shutterfly’s customizable return address stickers. With hundreds of designs to choose from and at such affordable prices, getting a few pages of return addresses to accompany your Christmas cards is a must.
5. Monogram Everything
No secrets here, this girl loves everything monogrammed, and when it comes to personalization, Shutterfly delivers. This round of shopping, I grabbed a few monogrammed wine bags to give some of my besties and some monogrammed beer growlers for Cole to give out to his friends. I have a feeling I’ll be back to shop more of their monogrammed goodies before the big day gets here.
