I don’t usually post on the blog during the weekend, but I haven’t quite adjusted to California time (it’s 5:30am here!) and being immersed in Disneyland has me feeling inspired to share this colorful, happy outfit. If you follow me on instagram, you’ve probably already seen this hot pink bow mini skirt  (because I’m obsessed and I probably don’t even have to explain why), and today I’m sharing how I styled it for an outfit that features on of my fave color combos: red and pink. Click the read more button below to get the full scoop on this bold and girly look.

This hot pink mini skirt is just the most darling thing ever and it’s only $53. I’m an ultra-girly girl, so from the hot pink hue to the bold, oversized bow, it just spoke to me. I also love that the satin-y material of the skirt makes it appropriate for fall/winter.

While I’ve also paired this pink bow skirt with fun graphic tees (today I’m wearing it with a Minnie tee to the parks!), for this post, I wanted to show how you can dress it up and make it fall/winter weather appropriate. No matter the time of year, I just love the way red and pink looks together, especially when worn in a color block way. This $55 red cable knit sweater was the perfect pair for this skirt.

To continue the red and pink color block look, I opted for some red lace up pointed toe pumps (this pair is on sale!). Having a pair of red pumps is essential, in my opinion, because you can wear them year-round, and they’re the perfect pop of color that pairs well with pretty much any neutral. I finished the look off with a sparkly statement necklace (I reserve these kinds of necklaces for the holiday season!) and my duped animal print clutch I found for under $60!

This outfit is a great idea for a holiday party or a fun date night.
