It’s hard to believe that Halloween is just around the corner, and while I’m not a big fan of the scary, spooky parts of Halloween it probably won’t come as a surprise when I tell you that I absolutely love dressing up. It was playing dress up when I was a little girl, after all, that sparked my love for fashion. So when my friends at Shabby Apple reached out to me about styling one of their dresses as a Halloween costume, I said absolutely! As I perused their website, I only had one stipulation for my costume choice – it had to be a Disney character. While I debated on turning this gorgeous fuchsia skirt into an Anastasia ugly step sister costume, I saw this little number (which comes complete with an adorable blue tie bow and is on MAJOR SALE) and I immediately thought of the most curious and adorable of Disney characters, Alice from Alice in Wonderland, and made my choice. Then I set off to find the other key pieces to making my Alice costume come to life.

The other key part of Alice’s look is her apron, which I found on Amazon for a steal. Then to accessorize, I needed black ballerina flats like these comfy staples I found at Nordstrom and a small bow headband, which I found on Etsy. For the final touch, I needed white tights, which I swapped for this polka dot version by Wolford to add a little something whimsical to the look. Voila! My alice costume was complete.

Thanks for journeying through the rabbit hole with me. And now I’m off to a tea party. It is my un-birthday after all.

Fair-well xx,
