Happy March! It’s hard to believe that two months of 2015 have already flown by (my wedding planning brain counts in reverse – 10 months until I become Mrs. Green!). Between my 9 to 5 job and planning for the big day, I realized I haven’t devoted much time to my blog lately, and I’ve resolved to change that, starting with this month and the new spring season (I’ve never been much of a cold weather gal anyway). 🙂
This is a look I recently rocked on a weekend in Austin while brunching with my sister. When in Austin, a comfy-chic look is a must, no matter what the weather is like. This outfit is perfect for a cool-but-sunny winter day. I have loved the plaid trend this season (and I’m stoked about spring’s picnic plaid version), and a plaid scarf is the easiest and coziest way to wear it. I found this oversized one at Sheinside and have thrown it on countless times this winter season. I also snagged this lace-lined knit top at Sheinside and the feminine texture paired perfectly with the preppy plaid. I found these black faux leather leggings at Dillard’s, and it’s a shame I can’t just wear them everyday! They are so comfortable but look so chic, whether with heels or with flats.
