It’s no secret that I love a good lip color. Whether I’m dressed to impress for a meeting with a brand or throwing on a breezy sun dress for a casual lunch with the girls, I always top my look off with a little bit of color or shine on my lips. With so many options on the market, it’s sometimes hard to know what type of lip color to pair with your look, and there’s tons of products out there that dry out your lips or just don’t last for more than an hour or so. I love that the lip oil is subtle and understated, but still provides a little color and a sweet, glossy shine. In the above photos, I’m wearing the Clarins Comfort Lip Oil in Red Berry, and as you can see, it provides just the right amount of soft red lip color with a gorgeous glossy finish. What’s even better? It has a hydrating effect, thanks to the formula infusing hazelnut and organic jojoba oils, that won’t dry your lips out and doesn’t leave behind that sticky residue that some glosses do. I also LOVE the sweet smell of the gloss AND it doubles as a lip-plumper! Yes, please! The Clarins Water Lip stain is your new go-to for bold and bright lip color to perfectly finish off all of your sassy, chic outfits. Unlike most lip stains that dry your lips out, the Water Lip Stain goes on feeling like a hydrating gloss (I almost didn’t believe it was a stain when I first put it on!) I was so surprised to find that after a few minutes, my lips had that matte, bold look that I love with lip stains, but without any of the dry, peeling feeling left behind. While it moisturizes and softens, it still lasts all day long so you don’t have to worry about re-applying (through 300 kisses to be exact!) The color is also buildable, so you can apply 1 layer for a more minimal lip color and 2-3 for the maximum effect. In the above photos, I’m wearing the Clarins Water Lip stain in Red Water, but I have about three shades in constant rotation that I now keep in my handbag. This product is a total game-changer, y’all!
