The Cutest One Piece and High Waisted Swimsuits

Cole and I are headed off to the beach again this weekend, this time in Mexico for one of his best friend’s weddings. Since I was a little limited in the swimmies I could wear last summer and mostly avoided being outside in the heat (being 8+ months pregnant and all), I’ve taken every chance I get to soak up the sun in my favorite swimmies. As I was sorting through my swimsuits to pack for this trip, I noticed nearly all of the ones I’ve recently purchased or have selected as gifts from brands have been either one-piece styles or high-waisted. Perhaps it’s the fact that I’m a mama now and subconsciously feel the need to be more modest, but I love that one pieces and high waisted, vintage-inspired swimwear have come back in style for those who aren’t quite comfortable in the bear-all styles that have also made their way back into swimwear trends (and if those are your styles of , then by all mean, rock it gf!!) Don’t get me wrong, I love a teeny bikini every now and again, but for the purpose of this post, I’m going to be sharing all my favorite cute one piece swimsuits and high-waisted two piece styles for you to see and shop! As you can see from the swimmies I’ve worn so far this summer alone, there are SO many different options available now if you’re looking for a little more coverage in your swimwear. Whether you opt for neutral or brights, solids or prints, or something with a little extra flair like cutouts, from the shoulder or one shoulder, there’s something for everyone. There’s also a wide range when it comes to price points. If you’re looking for a swimsuit to last you for several summers to come, opt for a brand like SummerSalt (their prices are actually really amazing for how high-quality their suits are!) or Solid and Striped, which has been one of my go-to brands for the last few years. If you want a super affordable option, CupShe has all kinds of styles for under $25 (and yes I mean top and bottoms included!) To be honest, I was a little skeptical after seeing how low their prices were, but I was so impressed at the fit and quality of each swimsuit I wore!
