Happy Tuesday friends!! I don’t know about you, but for me, the unofficial start of spring has always began with the time change (and as a child, also almost always conveniently coordinated with spring break!) Although the last few days have been rather cloudy and stormy here in the Dallas area, it is SO nice to enjoy an extra hour of daylight! With the time change in the fall, it always takes me a few weeks to adjust to working in the dark, so I tend to just be happier and more productive in the spring time! The flared pant is back and my inner ’90s child is loving it!! The 2019 version is throwing it way back to the 1970’s though, with extra flared bottoms like the denim pair I’m wearing in today’s post. Y’all – these pants are not only made from that perfectly comfy-stretchy denim, they also have an elastic waist band…swoon!! SO darn comfortable! For sizing references, they fit true to size if not a little big. I got a size 24 and they weren’t at all tight!
To style the flare jeans, I went for an ultra boho look, since festival season is upon us and all, starting with this dreamy yellow peasant top. I just love the feminine sheer cotton and the darling ribbon details on this top. Also, the bubble sleeves give it an airy, romantic feel. The top also come sin white, a rose color and a light blue.
